Allah (SWT) Says in His Holy Quran, in Surat Ibrahim:
{ أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلاً كَلِمَةً طَيِّبَةً كَشَجَرةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصْلُهَا ثَابِتٌ وَفَرْعُهَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ }
Have you not seen, how Allah has struck a similitude?: a goodly saying is like a goodly tree, its root set firm, and its branches are in heaven [14:24]
In this Ayah, the books of Tafseer refer the good tree as being the Date tree, and this good tree is the Muslim.
In the 40 hadiths, we can read the following:
Abu Hurairah, radiyallahu 'anhu, reported that the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, said:
"Do not be envious of one another; do not artificially inflate prices against one another; do not hate one another; do not shun one another; and do not undercut one another in business transactions; and be as fellow-brothers and servants of Allah.
A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He neither oppresses him nor humiliates him nor looks down upon him. Piety is here - and he pointed to his chest three times. It is evil enough for a Muslim to hold his brother Muslim in contempt. All things of a Muslim are inviolable for another Muslim: his blood, his property and his honour." [Muslim].
So many recommendations, so many orders to follow, yet, when it comes to apply, how many of us do really apply these commands? we see all kind of animosity between Muslims, starting with families, wife hating her husband, husband hating his wife, brothers and sisters teared apart in the same house, uncles and aunts who were never introduced to their nephews and nieces,,,,
May Allah Cleanse our hearts, and Grant us hearts as pure as the Heart of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), the kind of heart that would make us enter Paradise, as Allah Says in His Holy Quran:
{ إِذْ جَآءَ رَبَّهُ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ }
(الصافات:84)
When he came to his Lord with a heart that was pure [Saffat 37:84]
And also, in the Surah " the Poets" :
{ يَوْمَ لاَ يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلاَ بَنُونَ }
{ إِلاَّ مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ }
(الشعراء:88-89)
"the day when neither wealth nor children will avail, anyone,
except him who comes to Allah with a heart that is pure/sound " [The Poets 26: 88-89]
{ أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلاً كَلِمَةً طَيِّبَةً كَشَجَرةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصْلُهَا ثَابِتٌ وَفَرْعُهَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ }

Unfortunately, many of us have now hearts that are so tough and hard, many have lost the meaning of the word "patience", we are living in a world full of selfishness and absence of mercy. Again, let us ask Allah to Keep us straight, and to fill our hearts with Mercy and Eeman, and Guide us to the straight path and Grant us pure hearts and Make us enter Paradise.
