It is very interesting to note that three parts of the Date seed have been described in the Holy Quran. They are named as :
These three parts have been referred in the following Ayat and Verses:
- Qitmeer (قطمير )
- Fateel (فتيل )
- Naqeer ( نقير ) - Hilum
These three parts have been referred in the following Ayat and Verses:
Qitmeer: mentioned only once in Quran, in Surat Fatir:
Fateel: was mentioned three times in the following Ayats:
Naqeer: was mentioned twice in the Quran:
What are exactly the Qitmeer, Fateel and Naqeer of the date?
Next time you eat some dates, try to pay close attention to its seed. The following pictures illustrate the different parts of it:Qitmeer 1 - قطمير |

ReplyDeleteSubhan'Allah! The beauty, the precision and our Supreme Creator's Magnificence is so visible even in the Qitmeer, Fateel and Naqeer of EACH date ! Alhamdulillah, I have been referring to Qitmeer and I have been overwhelmed whenever I wold eat dates, one of the most treasured food/fruit for me and each date I would keenly witness the Miracle -each date and there are billions of them at any given point in time. Yet we do not see the Qadr of Allah Azz'wa Jall', May He Grant us all the ilm' yaqeen and Taqwa' as He is Rauf um bil, eebad and He is Rauf um bin na's! Jazak Allah khairan! Was' salaam!
